Before & After Transformation

BEFOREAFTER

“ABCD at Newfane has been working with QUALITYstarsNY for several years now. After our re-rating last year, one of the areas that we were lacking in was having an adequate breastfeeding area. There have been many changes in the center set up and this designated area has been changed and moved several times. While working with our QUALITYstarsNY Quality Improvement Specialist, we established it as a goal to have the area set up and receive a CACFP Breastfeeding Friendly certificate.

We were able to receive a comfy rocking chair for any mother to use. Our center also chose to receive a small bookshelf to display children’s books and reading material for the mom. With other materials ABCD was able to purchase, we now have a wonderful breastfeeding area and have received our CACFP Breastfeeding Friendly certificate!”
