Early Childhood Quality Improvement Specialist

The Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist is responsible for providing key support in the implementation of QUALITYstarsNY. The QI Specialist is assigned a case load of participating programs to provide ongoing technical assistance and resources to as part of continuous quality improvement. The QI Specialist works in partnership with the leadership of participating programs to effectively use data to create and implement an individualized Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). The QI Specialist supports programs to achieve the goals outlined in their QIP through a variety of strategies and holds programs accountable to meeting their goals. The QI Specialist is expected to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the program’s leadership and use a facilitative, consultation model to provide technical assistance and mentoring.

Recruitment and Engagement Associate

QUALITYstarsNY is currently expanding services across the state to support early childhood programs in their continuous quality improvement efforts. The Recruitment and Engagement Associate has an essential role in the expansion as they partner with the QUALITYstarsNY team to create a strategy to recruit early childhood programs in all regulated settings to participate in QUALITYstarsNY. They will be responsible for managing and executing the recruitment strategy, and corresponding outreach tactics, to expand participation for QUALITYstarsNY. The Recruitment and Engagement Associate role is also responsible for supporting ongoing engagement among QUALITYstarsNY’s community of more than 1,000 participating programs across the state. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.

Communications Associate

The Communications Associate will support the development and implementation of communications and marketing strategies for QUALITYstarsNY. Reporting to the QUALITYstarsNY Communications & Outreach Manager, the Communications Associate will contribute to the creation and distribution of compelling and visually engaging print and digital materials for a range of stakeholders and audiences. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.

Data Systems & Ratings Manager

The Data Systems and Rating Manager leads the management of QUALITYstarsNY’s database systems and reporting efforts, with the support of the Senior Director and Director of Systems and Administration, including ongoing planning and communication with the QUALITYstarsNY central office leadership and administrative team, to ensure deliverables are accurately executed and issues are resolved in a timely manner. The Data Systems and Rating Manager supervises the work of the rating team; coordinates documentation review, ratings and appeals processes; and ensures consistency and accuracy of ratings. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.

Data Systems Coordinator

The Data Systems Coordinator supports the work of the QUALITYstarsNY rating team, manages the internal support ticketing communications system, and monitors QUALITYstarsNY data system for consistency. They help to identify gaps and opportunities in workflow processes to ensure efficiency of the QUALITYstarsNY data system, data reports, and overall progress towards project-wide goals. The Data Systems Coordinator should be detail oriented and have interpersonal skills that will help support internal and external stakeholders use of our data system. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.

Senior Project Associate

QUALITYstarsNY is hiring for a Senior Project Associate to support the administration of educational and professional development opportunities QUALITYstarsNY offers to staff in participating early childhood programs. The Senior Projects Associate position is responsible for coordinating and managing the processing of vendor contracts and processing and tracking scholarship awards across multiple funding streams with various internal and external stakeholders. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.

Early Childhood Rating Reviewer (Part Time)

The Rating Reviewer is responsible for the accuracy and consistency of the QUALITYstarsNY rating process for regulated early childhood programs participating in New York State’s Quality Rating and Improvement System.  QUALITYstarsNY completes a rating process for all participating programs to earn a 1-5 Star Level, then supports the continuous quality improvement work according to the program’s priorities. The Rating Reviewer is responsible for reviewing documentation submitted by participating programs to assess the level of quality based upon a set of research-based Quality Standards. Reporting directly to the Rating Specialist, the Rating Reviewer will regularly communicate with the Rating Specialist about ways to enhance the system and monitor the system for consistency and best practice.
