Early Childhood Quality Improvement Specialist
The Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist is responsible for providing key support in the implementation of QUALITYstarsNY. The QI Specialist is assigned a case load of participating programs to provide ongoing technical assistance and resources to as part of continuous quality improvement. The QI Specialist works in partnership with the leadership of participating programs to effectively use data to create and implement an individualized Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). The QI Specialist supports programs to achieve the goals outlined in their QIP through a variety of strategies and holds programs accountable to meeting their goals. The QI Specialist is expected to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the program’s leadership and use a facilitative, consultation model to provide technical assistance and mentoring.

QUALITYstarsNY is currently expanding services across the state to support early childhood programs in their continuous quality improvement efforts. The Recruitment and Engagement Manager will play an essential role in the expansion as they partner with the QUALITYstarsNY team to create a strategy to recruit early childhood programs in all regulated settings to participate in QUALITYstarsNY. They will be responsible for managing and executing the recruitment strategy. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.
The Coaching Coordinator will be responsible for providing key support in the implementation of QUALITYstarsNY services. Providing supervision and support to a team of early childhood coaches, the Coaching Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of coaching services to QUALITYstarsNY and Start with Stars participating programs. The Coaching Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Director of Quality Improvement and Regional Quality Improvement Coordinators to develop systems of service delivery that align with the goals outlined in participating programs’ individualized Quality Improvement Plans. As part of the Central Office team, the Coaching Coordinator will contribute to the data collection and analysis that informs overall project planning and goal attainment. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY’s Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.
The Project Assistant carries out the day-to-day purchasing operations for the project across multiple funding streams and with various internal and external stakeholders. Duties of the role include processing invoices, purchase requests, and staff reimbursements; reporting status of assigned budgets to Senior Project Associate; maintaining electronic documentation for historical records; monitoring processes and systems for accuracy and work flow consistency; and more. The role reports directly to the Director of Systems and Administration and the Senior Project Associate of QUALITYstarsNY. This position is based in QUALITYstarsNY Central Office in Brooklyn, NY.
