As previously announced, updates to QUALITYstarsNY Standards evidence requirements are now in effect for programs that apply for a new rating cycle after January 31, 2025. The updated evidence requirements clarify what documentation needs to be submitted to show your program meets the QUALITYstarsNY Standards.
All downloadable Standards PDFs on our Quality Standards page and the Interactive Standards on our website have been updated to reflect these latest evidence requirements. If you have not already, we encourage you to download the updated PDF of the Standards to prepare for your next rating cycle and inform your continuous quality improvement work.
What changes have we made to the Standards evidence requirements?
We have combined the columns for “Documentation” and “Minimum Requirements” into a single “Required Evidence” column and additional clarification has been added. These changes only affect guidance for providing evidence, not the Standards themselves.
