Melissa Calizaire

Melissa Calizaire has spent 15 years in the field of early childhood in a variety of roles. She worked as a teacher of all ages of young children – from infants to preschoolers in center-based and Head Start programs. As Melissa’s passion for early childhood grew, she transitioned out of the classroom and into administrative roles. Prior to joining QUALITYstarsNY, she worked as an Assistant Director and Director for five years in center-based programs. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree from CUNY Lehman College and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood from Grand Canyon University. She is a strong believer that every child should have the opportunity to be part of a high quality program that allows them to meet all their developmental milestones and shapes them to have a great foundation in education.
