Mahwish is a Queens, NYC native. Mahwish attended public schools her entire life and attended Queens College and Hunter College for her Undergraduate Degree and Master’s Degree in Early and Elementary Education.  She has worked as an educator teaching students from toddlers to 3rd grade in public, private, and charter schools for 11 years. Mahwish transitioned to a leadership role as the Director of an Early Childhood Center-based program in Bayside, Queens, and served there for the past 6 years.  She has had the pleasure of working in Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Mahwish loves NYC and all the diversity it offers and sharing her dedication to diversity with students and other educators!
