Lorena Ramirez

Lorena has worked in the Early Childhood field for more than 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood from City College and a Master’s Degree in Special Education B-2^nd grade from Touro College. During her career as an early childhood educator, Lorena has held several positions, including home visitor, teacher, and educational coordinator. She has experience in Head Start, 3K, Universal Pre-K, child care programs, and advocating for children with special needs. In her previous role as an educational coordinator, Lorena led her program to join QUALITYstarsNY and earn a 4-Star rating. She is happy to be part of the QUALITYstarsNY team and support early childhood programs throughout New York City to provide high-quality services to children and their families.
