Amy Burns-Franz

Amy Burns-Franz joined the QUALITYstarsNY QI Specialist team in 2016. Amy received her bachelor’s degree in educational studies from SUNY Empire State College and holds an associate’s degree in early childhood education from SUNY Cobleskill. She taught preschool for over 10 years at The Radcliffe Child Care Center at Harvard University in Cambridge. Amy then held roles at The Child Care Council of Cornell Cooperative Extension and Madison-Oneida BOCES before becoming the executive director of the Clinton Early Learning Center in 2003. She is a current member of NAEYC and served as a board member for the Clinton Central School Board of Education from 2012 to 2018. She was a recipient of the “Friend of the Child Award” from The Child Care Council of Cornell Cooperative Extension in 2006.
