As New York State’s Quality Rating & Improvement System for early childhood programs, QUALITYstarsNY’s mission is to provide individualized, comprehensive support to early childhood programs and providers at no cost to our participants. Programs participating in QUALITYstarsNY are rated on a 5-Star scale every three years and are supported with a full complement of resources to improve their quality and increase their Star Rating.

Continuous, individualized support from a Quality Improvement Specialist, an expert in the field of early childhood education and program management

QUALITYstarsNY currently supports nearly 2000 early childhood programs across the state and continues to expand participation. To mitigate the opportunity gap experienced among the most vulnerable families, QUALITYstarsNY prioritizes programs serving communities and families with the highest need when selecting new participants.
