To the Program Standards

The Standards Resource Guide is an online tool that both current participants undergoing the Standards Self-Study process and all early childhood programs/providers interested in quality improvement can use to access additional information and guidance about the Standards.

The Resource Guide helps programs/providers to understand the significance of the Standards as they pertain to high quality early education and to demonstrate exemplary practices through supporting documentation. Clarification Statements and links to resources are available.

The Resource Guide was created by the Professional Development/Technical Assistance subgroup of the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) Work Group and is considered to be a continuously evolving project. Along with other professionals in the field, subgroup members of the ECAC consistently revise, collect and contribute new resources to this important body of knowledge.
